meh... how do you justify burning whole city taking lot flying turns because drogon's burn radius is very small compared to city... when you can just fly to window where cersie drinks wine and feels good about herself and end the war by burning the person who caused the beheading of missandei... stop justifying this bs.. you are just another sheep in heard... don't care about 1k likes... bring on the hate...i know i'm right...

Jon Snow has kept quite before in important situations. Like when he kept quite when that boy in the nights watch was against the wildlings , which cost Jon his life.

At what point exactly does Cersei make you feel pity for her? So she has motherly instinct for her children and a strong connection with her brother. Hardly redeemable enough qualities

Maybe John will kill Dany King Slayer style, breaking his promise that Dany will always be he's queen. Maybe in the end he'll become more of a grey character. Up to this point he's been a super cartoon-ish hero.

Dani will give a farewell speech and will take Drogon and the warriors back across the sea. - home.
She will leave her brothers son to rebuild and rule in her absence.
"If these lands ever allow privilege to rule - I'll burn all of you."
Jon rebuilds the city and rules.
Brant and the fat guy will write the history together.

Danny would not be the mad queen! From losing every piece of her family....baby, and so on she always was level headed! Even I could see this was a lame plot twist. She wanted to be a queen of the people. Not of the dead and dying!

First off. There is no way in hell an army of riders would have raced into the unknown even with fire swords. There would have been fire posts and outlook towers with fire and the ability to light up further out! 1 dragon could have prelit the land prior to the battle. Secondly there is no way the North would have gone against the dragon queen. She sent out her army for them. They would owe her their lives. Bran is a useless character! He knows enough to fight out in the battle as one of the animals or people. Warging. He would have talked to the queen and informed her of all the betrayals and his knowledge of what ever to help her. The queen would have given Aria to what’s his name(. The bastard who was rowing! ).... before leaving the north she would have insisted sensa fix her relationship with wither Tyrian or another! She would have sealed her rule with marriage. Even so far as offering some darthraki to the mix of the north as well as the opposite.
There is no way a dragon would have missed the ships coming after them.....it’s not like they are klingons with a cloaking device! Or a submarine! The dragons could out maneuver and gunner! At kings landing. The dragon queen should have held Jamie as ransom as they had nothing else! Also she should have given cercie a show of her dragon, before the trade! At that point when her best friend was beheaded ..the dragon should have crispy fried them all!

It seems as though Bran may not having been doing much this season, but I'd argue that he has been manipulating events to suit what he thinks is going to happen in the future and he his using the characters like chess pieces. Remember when he gave Arya the dagger? Remember how they left him vulnerable to the Night King only to leave himself as bait so Arya could use the dagger to kill the Night King? Look how he set up having Sam tell Jon about his true parents. He knew Jon would tell his sisters about being Aegon Targaryen. These are just some of the ways he has been acting indirectly to influence the future to what he sees it to be. I'm guessing this will all culminate in the last episode. There's still more left to come from Bran IMO. Also, I don't think he will be the king in the end either. He's not Bran anymore and the 3 eyed crow/raven isn't a king. They're just not, no matter how much fans may want him to be. Finally, there will always be ice and fire, so keeping Drogon alive and maybe introducing a new Night King type of threat may be how they leave the series - always the fight to maintain balance between ice and fire. IDK... Thinking this much hurts.

I keep hearing people say this, for the love of god Jon and Daenerys ARE NOT IMMUNE TO FIRE! GRRM confirmed it. It took a magical event for Dany not to be burned. Please, no more Targaryens can't burn nonsense. If that were true then the Doom of Valyria would have never happened and all of those people and dragons wouldn't have died and Aegon the conqueror would never have came to Westeros.

Dany went from "occasionally vindictive" to full mad queen way too fast, and regardless of missandeis death, there is nothing that really makes her turn to burning civilians alive credible.

Sidenote; Drogon is not the biggest dragon thats has ever been seen. Balerion, Vhagar and Meraxes were all considerably larger than Drogon. Also none of these 3 larger dragons were among any of the larger Valyrian dragons, making Drogon "small" among semi-wild dragons, although much larger than the damaged captive dragons of the post conquest targaryens before Drogon.
Part of the reason danys dragons may not have become very big compared to earlier dragons is what Tyrion hints at in Mereen "dragons don't do well in captivity". Drogon, while never really a captive, is quite restrained by dany.

I hear you, but you can blame the shortened season for the writing shortcomings. The hints at Dany's cruelty throughout the series has always been known. Look at her face as she has Viserys killed in season 1. Look at what she did at the House of the undying. Look how she burned the Tarly's alive. She's always had a vicious side. She always had good intentions, but her execution (pardon the pun) has always been off and a little horrific. She doesn't show mercy or decency. These traits are her downfall. They just rushed and crammed everything into this hurried season.

Wow, at this time anything is possible. I do however think that Arta or Jon killing Danaerys will be to simplistic. If the show is about the conflictsbof the human heart we need to see Jon be put in a position where is choice is just compleatly heart wrenching. So there is room for a last twist, not the one about Bran beeing the final villan warging Drogon and burns kings landing. So if we see this from Danys point of view - she was in a situation we she has noone, she trust noone, and even at the point of seemingly having won - can she really trust that? In episode 5 it seems all she has left is revenge, and at a flip of a switch she desides to go for that, and thus betoning the mad queen. However, what if.... what if the final twist is she still has something to fight for? Something that takes presedence above everything else in her life? Someone she is willing to protect no matter the cost? Her unborn child.... what if that is the final twist? How would we view her choices? What position would Jon be put in? Can he kill Dany, and then also his own child? Will he protect Dany, and go along with her to protect his own child, or will he kill her and also his own child for the good of the realm? Will Dany reveal her pregnency when she walks out to her troops? Will the Dotraki cheer because the profesy of the big kahl still can be fullfilled? Who knows - I would love to see this twist (Dany beeing pregnant), and how that all plays out.....

Khal Drogo, who was going to destroy Westeros for Dany, would be proud of her. She's not crazy, she's not impulsive: she's a warlord, a tiny, cute, ruthless blonde warlord; of course she burns and sacks cities. That's what warlords do. If she says she's going to burn you alive if you don't bend the knee, or if you betray her, she's going to burn you alive. If she didn't, if she had listened to her advisers, everybody would be saying, "See? Women don't have don't have the guts for war!" She very sensibly didn't trust Tyrion about the bells; she planned something completely opposite when speaking High Valyrian with Grey Worm. (Think the Unsullied guards didn't tell her about Tyrion visiting Jaime?) Her plans worked. She tore up the Iron Fleet, the artillery on the walls, and the Golden Company -- just her and her pet dragon. Then the bells rang, and she went off on the city, which was the signal to her soldiers, the Unsullied and the Dothraki, to do their thing.

@Jayne Reed I've learned to like Arya in the show, but she's getting way too over powering now. She needs to stay a low key assassin and leave it there.
I kind of agree with you with GRRM, although it did also seem like D+D kind of pushed him out of the way once they were past the book material. They wanted it over so they could focus on their other projects. Why else would they turn down HBO's offer for more episodes/season(s)? I think GRRM and D+D had their own motivations.

@Chris Stanley I have always found Arya annoying. I thought it was the fault of the actress until I read the books. "Annoying" Is exactly how Arya is written.
Another theory I have is that GRRM kind of threw D&D under the bus by not giving them enough good information to finish the show. After all, if the last 2 seasons had been as good as the books, who would buy the books?

@Jayne Reed Also if Arya kills Dany, I riot. I love Arya's character, but she will be undoubtedly the most over powering character ever created in film, tv, and books if she gets that kill as well. She was on her way to killing Cersei last episode after killing the Night King. Her killing Dany would destroy the legacy of this show. They should just call the show 'Game of Arya' lol.

@Jayne Reed You raise good questions as to the Unsullied and the Dothraki. Interesting bit about Brienne. Maybe a surprise reveal? We'll see. Also, they did hint at Dany not being able to get pregnant too much making me think that she may be as well, but who the hell knows anymore? I will say, they are at least keeping us all guessing - even if many do not like the outcomes..
Drogon won't be killed IMO. Don't know how the show will deal with it though. To me, it's pretty obvious for Jon to kill Dany. This show is not known for the obvious. Like how we all thought Jon would kill the Night King. I must say though, if he doesn't then I guess Jon's whole purpose was just to unite the Wildlings and the Northmen to fight the Night King. If Jon dies and/or doesn't kill Dany I will be disappointed. Other than rallying troops what would Jon's true purpose have been then? It would feel and seem hollow to me. It would also make the whole R+L=J theory just stupid. It would have only been a tool to drive a wedge between Jon and Daenerys.

@Chris Stanley Yup. The only question is how they're going to get around the Unsullied, the Dothraki, and Drogon.
Maybe she will die in childbirth, and her armies will just say fuck it, and go home. Drogon will fly her body to the ruins of Valyria. Or something.
All that is no longer interesting. Now I want to see who else is pregnant, and who carries to term. I'm hoping one at least is Brienne.

Sandor hated Gregor for that, but that is not what drove Sandor from Clegane Keep, or to protect Arya and Sansa. Sandor left the day his father was buried. Sandor's father died from mysterious circumstances. Shortly after Sandor left his home, his sister also died from mysterious circumstances. Gregor probably killed both of them, as well as his first 2 wives. It is said that Sandor's doggedness started the day he heard the news of his sister's death, and all of Gregor's actions from there on informed his own bloodlust as the Hound. It should've been more layered than his face. They could have added a line when Sandor and Sansa spoke. She could have asked "but why did you try to save me [and Arya]," and Sandor could have answered, "because I couldn't save my sister, Little Dove, [but I saved yours]." It would have connected the dots to Clegane Bowl better, and the viewer would have had a better and more sympathetic view as to why Sandor couldn't let his hate for Gregor go after he'd already given up being the Hound.

Gregor caught Sandor playing with one of his toys when they were children, and pushed his face into the fire. Unfortunately, Gregor never got any nicer, and Sandor was physically and psychologically scarred for life. This was explained in an earlier season.

He had no idea Dany was going to go postal like that, especially once the Lannisters's dropped their swords and the bell rang. Once he sees her fire and blood rampage firsthand his mind is instantly decided - how is he going to take her out? There is no coming back from this in Jon's eyes, it was more like the first and last straw for him with her. I'm just wondering whether Jon, Davos, and Tyrion will be able to talk to each other about what to do before Tyrion gets put on trial. I also think Varys notes will make their way to other kingdoms (Riverrun, the Vale, Winterfell, etc.) so all will know what is going on in King's Landing.
