Never listen to the Policeman or Fireman in a fucking fire. Just fucking run. Piece of shits. Always trust your survival instincts. It knows best since it has evolved and experience much longer than the term 'policeman' or 'Fireman' ever existed.

@Lewis Rice No they weren't. Survivors have already told their statements, they said they were told to go back up by fireman in the building and stairs.

@Lolrtfyu Lolytfru Anyone found on the stairs were either told to get out of the building or dragged out.

@Lewis Rice Like I said. You stay in the building and burn to death. I'll be one of those survivors who walked past the fireman, ignoring the pasing by fireman who told them to "get back up". You can come up with all kinds of excuses in the world, end of the day the people who ignored the authorities that day got out alive by listened to their guts and instinct. Those who did listen got burned alive.

@Lolrtfyu Lolytfru the fire brigade didn't write the stay put policy issued to that and any other building. The building reacted in a way unknown to them. If a full evacuation had of occured earlier (which the means to do so where not availible) there would have been a stampede on the stairs, as all it takes is one person to slow everyone down, many would have suffocated due to the smoke and the fire brigade would have an impossible task of clearing them, which would have prevented them performing two of their principles roles, saving life and fighting the fire. Who ever would have given that order would now be in the dock for manslaughter by causing all of that life loss by not following the stay put policy, and those truly responsible would be able to walk away.

He has no clue about fire safety and was only ever interested in the amount of money he would save by closing all of those stations. Recruitment was frozen for years and now they can't keep up with the amount of people retiring and moving on to different jobs, this means there are a lot of trucks not in use because there is no one to go on them. We already have apartment buildings being evacuated due to to terrible cheap Chinese products used and to some extent bad workmanship too, probably because of rushing so many of them out. We even had things like drinking fountains in our new Elizabeth Quay development full of some kind of poison metal, I forget what, due to cheap Chinese pipes used.
