I think there’s absolutely no connection between the episode’s title and those two poems apart from the words “the” and “bells.”

Nothing sweet about this stupid ending. Just bitter. And retarded.

One non-bell ring, I haven't noticed anyone mention, was when Dany's brother had his golden crown and it hit the ground, it rang like a bell. Also, my tinfoil theory; All the Starks will die, Dany will sit on the Iron-Throne. She's in Kings Landing with her armies and Drogon. So, why not and why leave. As Ciersi said to Ned, all he had to do was climb those steps and sit down, and the Iron-Throne would've been his. Just sayin'.

Westeros seems "ripe" for invasion by Essos... hope the ending scene shows a new threat and then "cuts to black"...

I think Tyrion is going to betray Dany, the same way Jamie betrayed King Aerys. This will leave Jon as the rightful heir to the throne, but he doesn’t want it. Due to this, the next right heir is should be Gendry because he is now recognized Lord Baratheon. He also is related to the Targaryns. I think he will be King and make Jon the Warden of the North.

Ok, os here's how I see it.... Big trial where Dany sentences Jon for treason ( think; his retreat during battle, etc..) His head gets lopped off ala Ned Stark, (since Drogon refuses to burn him as he's a Targaryen ) Arya sees this and goes in for the kill. Arya succeeds but dies in the process. Battle between Unsullied, Dothrakis and Northerners goes full tilt and the north wins ushering Bran and Sansa to King's landing - Sansa takes the throne!!! Fitting as the story began with the Starks having lost everything, only to win the long game.

Listen to the newly-freed slaves chanting to Dany in this clip. Dany is Nissa Nissa. Which means that Jon, her beloved, is Azor Ahai. And he is going to kill her to defeat the darkness. How is everyone missing this? https://youtu.be/dKElNTMWNZ8?t=870

It is kind of funny when it's pointed out that one of the reasons for her snapping was not being loved by the people of Westeros. Because I hardly think that torching the people of King's Landing and the city will help lol.

Everyone complaining about Daenerys , I know it was kind crazy to burn kings landing, but I think the “Bells/Surrender” was like a spit in the face for Dany , it was like all the people I loved died, I went through all This chaos, I offered surrender for my home it was rejected and after all that the war begins and once it is all again chaos , they surrender ? After all the damage was done ? It was like they purposely made her suffer and when it was 100% certain they lost and drove her bad then only is it time to surrender . So I’m not surprised the surrender was met the familiar response in GOT “Not Today”

Notice the 3 headed dragon and who has killed #1 , #2 and now #3. The wolf is clearly the killer of the last dragon, so we can see that John will become the winner of the game and the meek shall inherit the earth. He will go away and rule in absentia with Sam and baby Sam (shuda been a Whytie) and Tyrion will co-lab with the Stark girls and the Baratheon boy to unite the kingdoms.

Think about it and remember that from the beginning of the show she's been hunted family members murdered beaten by her brother traded for a army husband and baby died lost everything betrayed by people close to her her dragon6gs stolen from her lied to refused help. More people tried to kill her bought a army of slaves freed them and asked them to fight as free men for her gained two more army's and fought with them could have taken kings landing when she first got there but she went North to fight and gets treated with disrespect looses more people and a dragon finds out that the person she's in love with has claim to the throne and is rejected by him looses another dragon her only female friend and probably the only sister image to her is murdered just to piss her off betrayed again and almost poisoned by that same person who tried to get someone else to take what they never knew that they were even heir to he was even betrayed by his so called sister out of jealousy and her own love for him she has one person there that she can trust Grey worm he and her army would kill everybody for her even Jon, you saw that look on his face when Jon tried to stop them from fighting if she is killed it would have to be buy poison from a little bird let's hope that she doesn't die or order the deaths of thoes who betrayed her or who refuse to bend the knee. But it's tv anything could happen friends have become enemies, in this she's done nothing any other person has done to rule so get off her back.

Not in her character to possibly do what happened. Remember what Bran said to Littlefinger," chaos is a ladder". And also, what Littlefinger told Sanza,"a man with no motives no one suspects". The exact why Bran did it I'm not completely sure yet. It just didn't make sense after EP 5. After watching it again she was never shown after she took off once the bells rang. There was a reason for that.

I think what we saw was contempt for Westeros slowly growing inside Danny, as she sacrificed everything dear to her to save the people only to be rejected by them.

In the end, she realized that she can't be the queen because she has no one to rely on and the information about Jon being a rightful king is out. She lashed out at everyone - men, women, children, even sent her own troops running in fear.

I think show will end with Danny flying into the sunset on her last dragon, rejected and broken, never to be seen again. Jon and her remaining forces will be left to sort out all the mess she leaves behind. But, at least, the war is over and Jon will be a just king.

As I mentioned before, the existential threat to humanity was reduced from a unstoppable killing machine - played up for seven prior seasons - to a crazy queen in a tower who likes to sleep with her brother. Now? It's a queen with a dragon who went nuts because she single-handedly won an overwhelming victory, and got everything she's wanted for the past 7 seasons.

Then a very angry Drogon , the unsullied and the dothraki wreck all of Westeros , whew , thank goodness it is a fantasy !
