No one kills Dany, it’s too widely expected now which D&D probably anticipated, which means it wont happen. And besides, it’s not like killing the Knight King, which destroyed his army simultaneously. You still have to deal with Drogon, Dothraki and Unsullied.

i just thought of something... what if Brienne kills Dany? Jamie asked Brienne in the bathtub scene: Jamie said "What would you have done if everyone was going to be killed, would she keep her oath then? Brienne could also be upset that Dany just killed Jamie. AND Dany is a threat to Sansa and therefore Brienne will protect Sansa. But that would make sense with story and the character development. So I'm sure it will not happen.

A lot of people have been upset about the fact that a lot of this episode has been from Arya's perspective... but I understand why. Arya was further into the city than anyone else - therefore, she had a much better vantage point to show the devastation from the people's perspective.

The whole Mad Queen thing, I think, was just a mix of various things. There have been clues throughout the seasons, and many this seasons. We've seen how much the Iron Throne meant to her. In season 1, when Drogo vowed to take his Khalasaar to Westeros, burn their cities, rape their women, etc. she was taken by the moment, in a good way(for her) and though she spends some times freeing slaves, she still burns slave masters for no good reason.

She sails to Westeros to take the Iron Throne, demanding loyalty from a stranger. She was so full of herself and then she started losing the war. She wanted to take all 3 Dragons to Kings Landing and burn it down, which she was advised against, but was her initial impulse. She lost a Dragon trying to save Jon, who she later finds out is the true heir to the Iron Throne she has dedicated her life to. Then she sees Westerosi don't like her, she loses Jorah, she loses half her soldiers, and Jon is the one getting the praise. She wants Jon to keep his secret and he doesn't, and neither does Varys. Cersei beheads her dear friend. Feels unloved and rejected by Jon. No love from him or Westeros. I think in the moment she just stopped caring about the Throne that she no longer has a claim to, and decided she has a Dragon, fuck everyone. Which is true, she single handedly defeated the Lannister Army, the Iron Fleet, the Golden Company, and burned all of Kings Landing.

Dany kills Jon for treason; arya kills dany; the throne is destroyed during the fires; Bran sets up the ruling of the north with Sansa, Tyrion, and ? to rule; Bran goes to live with the trees. Arya goes on the road as a traveling "knight" of justice.
                    How about that

Dany didn't go mad. The "madness of the Targaryens" functions a lot like prophecy: it's sometimes self-fulfilling, but it is not perfect. It is not as simple as "oh she went mad". Prophecy for GRRM is never that easy. Just like most mass-murderers throughout history, she's not clinically mad in any way. But she is so confident in her own righteousness and power, and has no remorse or compunctions for the people she slaughters.

She has decided to "rule by fear", and she has decided that by slaughtering the present generation it is "mercy to the future generations". Her idea of "breaking the wheel" has evolved into something more sinester: she believes by burning so much down, by slaughtering so many people, that she will put an end to this world she hates, and that her grip on Westeros will be more powerful the more the people fear her. She believes that simply allowing them to surrender will make her reign no different and no less shaky than Cersei's or anyone else's. She also detests them, views them as worth less than dirt. Because "they haven't rebelled against Cersei", she is happy convicting them of all the crimes of Cersei. In her self-righteous eyes, all others are equally guilty.

She is the sort of evil that only GRRM can write: complex, conflicted, with heroic qualities and charisma, but with flaws that we've been ignoring (just like Tyrion) or allowing to slide or excusing. She's not insane or mad in any clinical sense, just precisely the kind of evil that all mass murderers throughout history have been: totally self-absorbed, absolute confidence in her own righteousness, never questioning herself. We've had the perfect contrast to these qualities in Jon Snow, who, like his adopted father Ned, always questions himself, never takes pleasure in executing his enemies, and is wise and good precisely because he is questioning and humble. The difference between Jon and Dany now is similar to the contrast that was the focus of Book I between Ned and Joffrey.

@28:55 Bran cannot see the future. He can only see the past. There are two subtleties here:

                              1. Because he can see all the past everywhere (or at least everywhere in Winterfell where the spirit of the Old Gods has been strong), he has such comprehensive knowledge that he can make very good--uncannily good--predictions based on that knowledge.
                              2. When he Worgs into the past, sometimes he leaves traces of the future in the past. For example Hodor. From the perspective of the past, this looks like seeing into the future, but it's actually the future that is looking into the past (and leaving some trace of itself), not the other way around.

@7:28 no, the Valonquar was Dany. Valonquar doesn't mean little brother it means little sibling, and Dany was the youngest child of Aerys II. She collapsed the tunnel, suffocating (and crushing) Cersei.

Anyone who actually thought Jamie would kill Cercie is not been paying attention. The only brother who would have the reason to kill her is Tyrion. Still bummed she wasn’t killed by Arya

I think with Dani it was an impulsive decision. Add onto the family history she’s had a tendency to “not feel” take her brother and pouring the golden crown on him. (Yea he was a piece of shit) but she didn’t have any remorse or any feelings and she felt cold. And she’s done this with many other people was using her dragons power to gain power And to me she saw the red keep and knew Cersei was watchin her, and he wanting the revenge she was searching for she decided to go after her people so Cersei knows she can’t do anything for them and just watch them burn including the city itself, then I get how people are mad about how “she didn’t go out good enough” this is GoT you’re not gonna get what you want. It was the best way for her to go. Knowing nothing could save her. Her whole world literally crumbling around her not being able to escape and knowing all of her people are being burned alive. Knowing her unborn child will never experience life. And knowing she won’t get to live with the love (although it’s gross they belong with each other) of her life Jamie. You all are looking at the scene itself, not the meanings or emotions their feeling Her death was not by bricks killing her. Her entire world came crashing down on her. Literally. The one she protected, had deep struggles physically and emotionally the one she fought for 10 long years. Came crashing down on her in the lowest level. Exaaactly now she felt. At the bottom. She knew she lost everything and nothing could save her from this. Except dying in Jamie’s arms. Yet unable to give birth to a child, she lost everything and knew it. Her throne her family her children. All of it on her head

oh people, so ignorant. Dragons in this show (and many others) = contracted demons. Aim of the evil spirits, is to destroy the world (as it is cruel and evil). When her lover and child (Drogon and Misandei) died in one episode, it turned the switch. Her beast, her shadow completly taken over the control over her. She would fly and burn EVERYTHING. Just like the Night King - because in fact she have becomed the same thing. At least for a time. Enough time, to commit all of those atrocities. Thats why selfless (like Jedi - not attached) people like Varys should be the only one to possess Dragons, the power of the kings. Because they would never be possesed by those Dragons instead. I was sure that if there will be the day she will kill Varys, it will be the day of her end. It is just Drogon now. THey deliberatly did not showed her close, since the Drogon taken over. It made it look more as there is just Drogon now.
EDIT: And fuck's sake people. When did you missed something when the three-eyed raven said that HE IS NOT BRAN? Can you remember when Summer have died, torn away by the wights? Like, seriously. Since the Grey Wind, if a wirewolf dies, his owner dies too. Thats why I was worried about Arya last season (I think Nymeria is coming back in the next episode). Bran. Is. Dead. It is not Bran. It is the collective consciousness, or as you prefer, the absolute. The creation. He have no agenda, except of keeping the Creation and the Time in motion (in contrary to the Night King's agenda, and in my humble opinion, the faceless man as well). He does not feels. He does not acts. He just is. Just like the Dead JUST WAS.

Daenerys’s eyes are blue. Not green. And Arya, at this point, has killed many people with green eyes. I think Melisandre was just generally speaking and people have taken her words too literally.

She was pushed to her limit. Tyrion has failed her multiple times. Making the deal with the masters, and then still having some sort of allegiance to his house and the people he grew up with. He should not have accepted being her hand. If you remember Margaery's grandmother told her to stop listening to Tyrion and the men around her and do what she needs to do ... but she did not and look what it got her.... 2 of her children are dead. She literally could have taken the city prior to helping John fight the night king when she met with cersi to see if she would help fight the night king... but no Tyrion advised her not to. she was betrayed by her advisers , she lost her best friend and half of her army ...Just for Sansa to try and be like little finger and plot against her.... I hope she wins the game of throne. Every great ruler has things they are not proud of. This is no worse than what the masters , cersi or the wildlings have done. Burn the city to the ground and build a new one.

I think it would be overdoing her character, she has the Night King notch on her scabbard already. And who says Dany will die though everybody predicts it. Maybe she will prevail and the 7 Kingdoms will be stuck with "more of the same"

Were she not torching it, they would have had an escape and lived. Jaime died in the arms of the woman he loved as he hoped, but the prophecy was garbage and meant nothing in the end. Right off, Cersei had 4 children born which contradicts the 3 the witch said.
