As a Yankees fan I feel sickened by the way he was treated. And for those who say "Slavery was a long time ago. Get over it", well, it obviously didn't end with slavery.

WHAT AMAZED ME ABOUT THIS IS HOW WHITE PEOPLE WAS SO ANGRY ABOUT A RECORD THAT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM. THAT RECORD HAD NO IMPACT ON THEIR LIVES AND THEY HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. THAT SHOW YOU HOW DUMB IT WAS TO HATE HANK. THOSE WHITE PEOPLE WERE STUPID AND DUMB!!!!!!!!

In 1965 I was an 8-yr old kid in Milwaukee. Henry Aaron was my hero. It broke my heart that my team was leaving at the end of the season. Last game my dad and I went to, we sat in the right field bleachers and saw Hank hit a homer off Sandy Koufax. That's a memory I'll never forget. As an adult today I have a whole different level of respect for the man.

@8:25, whoever that pitcher is/was, I know his life had to flash before his eyes, after he realized that baseball was zeroing in on his cranium, that was a solid hit. I think that's what's overlooked the most about Henry Aaron, he was more than just a HR hitter, he was a great hitter, who just happened to hit allot of HR's...

hank could do every thing willie could do.but willie was more skillful n flashy kinda like comparing gene kelly to fred astaire which really comes down to who was more graceful. i have to give the edge to willie mays but i have much love n tespect for hammering hank greatness!!
