If this phone goes for $450 or less, I think it'll crush. What would you pay for it?

The Moto G7 proves that you can get a lot of phone for $300. For a much better camera and slightly better specs on the Pixel 3 Lite I think $400 is fair, but I would bet they charge $500.

MINIMUM of 64gb storage and 4gb of ram for a MAXIMUM of 400$. if companies like xiaomi can sell a 4/64 red mi note 7 for 200$ Google sure as hell better deliver the same device for no more than double.

450 is too much for it, plastik, supposedly low range speakers, lower class screen resolution or pixel, and the 4gb 32 gb is not good enough for that price, 200 below will be good

Even if it was priced aggressively, it wouldn't be worth it. The Pixel brand has quite a reputation as of late for being buggy and unpolished. The Pixel Slate, and the Pixel 3 both had optimization issues and other software issues at launch. The regular Pixel 3 couldn't even run stock Android smoothly with a Snapdragon 845. Given the history of the Pixel line do you really think a "lite" version with lower end hardware is going to fair any better? No one who knows anything about the Pixel line is going to buy this thing. The second major problem with the release of this phone is the timing, By the time this phone is supposed to be revealed which is I/O 2019 in May the Pixel 4 and a possible Pixel 4 lite will be only 5 months away. There is no point to this phone Google should have released the lite alongside the Pixel 3 and 3XL last year.

Phone jack to me says that Google is *finally* not chasing the iPhone. It looks to me like the replacement for the Nexus phone(s) and it should be $450 for 4gig/32gig version and $550 for 6gig/64gig version

This better not be more than $400. 4GB of ram, 32GB of space, slower cpu, not too good cameras, small battery, big bezels and so on. Yeah this phone would only last 2.5 years before it won't be able to keep up.

If it needs to compete with one+ which has 845 chipset, 6gb ram and 64 gigs of storage, they have to price it at most at 400-450$

To me, a phone like this is worth $300 at the very most. Merely 32 GB of storage and no SD card slot is painful these days. Hell, even if the phone cost a mere $100 I still wouldn't buy it since music alone would occupy 2/3's of the storage.

This phone makes sense, when compared to the phone market over the last couple of years. But in 2019, how can a phone like this (good as it is) compete with the Redmis, Oppos, Umidigis, and other low-to-midrange Chinese phones? What you can get now for US$200-300 is unbelievable – and they all seem to look like 2018 flagships.

I think companies like apple samsung and google are going to have a hard time playing in that “mid-high” end range that is emerging unless they really push things like one plus and other companies are doing at around the $500 price point.
